101 in 1001 Update 4.0

It's been quite some time since I took some time to update my 101 in 1001 list, and I've actually made some progress! I've got a long way to go, though, that's for sure.

No. 1
I covered my entire spring break in this post, but yes, going to Mexico was the first time I've ever left the United States. So hopping off the boat in Cozumel was a big deal for this girl.

No. 4
I've been doing a good bit of reading this summer because there's really nothing else to do. I just re-read The Fault in Our Stars (I read it 2 years ago) because I needed a refresher before I go see the movie this weekend!

No. 16
If I'm not reading, I'm probably eating. And lately I've been eating out a lot. But that's also given me the perfect chance to try some new places in Athens. I've got a whole bucket list of Athens restaurants that are necessary before I graduate. It only took me four years of living in Athens to finally make it to one of Athens' most infamous places: Mama's Boy.

I know, I'm cute. What can I say?

No. 46
A new brewery opened in Athens in early May and I finally made it there two weeks ago. It's no Terrapin, but I think it will be lovely when it's too cold for Terrapin in the winter!

No. 49
In case you missed it, I bought a car. NBD.

No. 61
Sadly there is no photo evidence of me eating food from a food truck, but it happened. And it was delicious. I'm planning on going to a food truck festival in Buckhead in July. NOM.

No. 87
Neighbors. Go see it. Now. It's hilarious. Vulgar, but hilarious. Oh, and Dave Franco & Zac Efron aren't too awful either.

No. 88
This semester I learned that I don't want to go into sports reporting. But this semester I also had a good amount of my sports writing published in a local Athens newspaper. So that's exciting I guess. You can find my stories here if you feel the urge to read about UGA Equestrian.

No. 101
If you know me personally, you know that UGA HEROs has a special spot in my heart. This upcoming week is our HERO camp, and I sadly can't be a counselor this year, but I'm still getting my donations in for everything I accomplish. We also shattered every single fundraising amount that's ever been set in the past this year. It's going to be a fun fall semester. And I can't wait to see what other goals we bust wide open!

I've got some big plans for the rest of the summer, and I'm hoping to knock at least 10 more off my list by the time school starts back. Because this is the last time in my life that I've really got time to do all the fun things I want to do!

Any travel suggestions for a weekend trip somewhere in North Carolina or South Carolina?? Trying to adventure somewhere soon!

xoxo, jgp
