24-Day Challenge: Day 20 Update

It's the final stretch. And I'm so ready for this to be over.

I fully intend to keep up my general diet and such, but I'm not going to miss all the crazy pills and not being able to eat a real breakfast. These shakes are getting real old. 

I don't hate eating healthy, I just hate the guilt I feel when I break away from my planned meals. I can't wait to eat a giant bowl of cheese dip, or a cupcake, or a pizza and not feel terrible about doing so. 

Oh, and I just signed up for a year's worth of Team Strength classes at my gym. It's essentially CrossFit with some other stuff thrown in, and I couldn't be more pumped. It's exactly what I needed. New workouts and new motivation... Time for that spring break bod. Yeah yeah.

Must find a suit like this.

The results are finally coming!

What I miss most: Breakfast. The shakes weren't bad for the first week, but I'm totally over them now. Mostly because I miss the days I could grab a Luna bar and run out of the door. 

What I've learned: I really love working out when I'm doing something I enjoy. I did two Fight Club classes at my gym this week and I'm obsessed. I want to do them every day. Except I'm too sore every time to even think about doing that. Currently can't feel my calves, and I'm scared of what they will feel like when I regain feeling. Oh well, one day I will have Carrie legs. Worth it.

Hardest part: Drinking Spark every morning. This sounds stupid as I type it. But it's seriously the biggest pain. I am a wake up, throw yourself together, and run out the door type. This whole waking up, making Spark, drinking it, then being able to have my shake 30 minutes later isn't working for me. 

Easiest part: Like I said above, workouts. I've found something that's actually working for me. So I'm going to stick with it. It's easy to workout when you don't dread it. 

Inches lost: 12.25 in

Weight lost: 4.6 lbs
